Offered to the girls at Piedra Vista High School in Farmington, this day-long workshop will introduce the girls to the basics of leadership development and leadership qualities.

Believe in NM Girls - Guadalupe County

P.O.W.E.R.S., a group of ambitious and talented girls in Santa Rosa attended the annual Believe in NM Girls conference in Albuquerque and decided they wanted their own conference. Mentored by caring adults, the girls will host the first conference of its kind in Santa Rosa for other girls in their county.

Expanding Your Horizons - Northern NM

Working Classroom and N4 Theater Present: Black Butterfly, Jaguar Girl, Pinata Woman, and Other Superhero Girls, Like Me written by MacArthur "Genius Award" recipient Luis Alfaro. The award-winning youth theater ensemble and guest director, Krista DeNio, will present "Black Butterfly..." at 8:00 p.m. on Friday & Saturday April 17 & 18, 24 & 25, and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday April 19 & 26. Village Academy Charter School Girls Session
Thursday April 30th, 2009 @ 8:00 am
This workshop will help the girls at Village Academy Charter School in Bernalillo clearly define goals and create a "goal getter" plan of action. Girls will also spend time learning about effective communication, the definition of being a girl and other aspects of obtaining self-respect.
